Renowned innovator Sonam Wangchuk praises 14-year-old inventor Shorya Bhasin

Shorya Bhasin, a 14-year-old boy from New Delhi, who is making a mark with his achievements in the field of robotics and innovation, will be seen interacting with India’s revered innovator Sonam Wangchuk in the show Young Genius, which celebrates child prodigies. “Never let the curiosity in you die,” said Sonam Wangchuk to the budding Young Genius Shorya Bhasin in the show.

The wonder child has created Water Molecular Air Purifier made out of household materials and also has a Design &Technology lab at home where he has made inventions like wax paper boxes, UV killer, etc. Shorya has participated in and won accolades at various competitions nationally & internationally including FLL Asia Pacific International Competition, Australia; First Lego League North India and Wireless Robotics (in association with Aakaar 2019 (IIT, Bombay) by Vigyantram). Shorya believes that he can make this world a better place with his inventions.

During his conversation with Sonam Wangchuk, he asked an important question about patents for his inventions. To which Sonam replied, “It’s an Indian tradition not to possess ideas and to make it for everyone’s wellbeing. If people can benefit from your inventions, you can keep them open to all.”
