Bihar Board passes 2 lakh students failing in 10th and 12th by grace marks

Two lakh 14 thousand 287 students who failed in one or two subjects in Bihar Board Matriculation and Intermediate have been passed with grace marks. This includes one lakh 41 thousand 677 matriculation students and 72 thousand 610 students of Intermediate. The Bihar board has taken this decision due to the Corona transition.

In the year 2020, a total of 3 lakh 40 thousand 633 students, including matriculation and intermissions, failed in one and two subjects. Bihar Board conducts compartmental examination for these students. Examination is not possible due to corona. In such a situation, the board has passed the compartmental examination by giving grace marks to the students. The board has not given information about how much grace has been passed to the students. The list of passed students has been released on the board's website onlinebseb.in on Thursday. The list of passed students was released by Education Minister Krishnanandan Prasad Verma. Additional Chief Secretary Education Department RK Mahajan and Bihar Board President Anand Kishore were present on the occasion.
