Rapid increase in Corona Virus infection, 34956 cases in merely 24 hours

The spread of Corona virus infection in the country is increasing every day. According to the Union Health Ministry, there has been an rapid increase in the number of deaths and infections of corona patients in 24 hours. The number of infected has increased by 34,956 and the number of dead by 687 during this period.

Due to this, the total number of infected have reached 1003832 and the total number of dead has reached 25,602. During the twenty-four hours, 22,942 patients have recovered, due to which the number of patients recovering has increased to 6,65,756. Currently 342473 patients are under treatment.

According to the data released by the ministry on Friday morning, 266 people in Maharashtra, 104 in Karnataka, 69 in Tamil Nadu, 58 in Delhi, 40 in Andhra Pradesh, 34 in Uttar Pradesh, 23 in West Bengal, 17 in Bihar, 16 in Jammu and Kashmir, 10 in Gujarat, 10 in Telangana, 9 in Punjab, 8 in Rajasthan, 7 in Madhya Pradesh, 4 in Jharkhand, 3 in Haryana, 2 in Assam, 2 in Odisha, 2 in Kerala, 2 in Chhattisgarh, 1 in Goa and 1 in Puducherry found corona positive.

Maharashtra has the highest number of 11194 deaths due to corona. After this, 3545 in Delhi, 2236 in Tamil Nadu, 2089 in Gujarat, 1046 in Uttar Pradesh, 1032 in Karnataka, 1023 in West Bengal, 689 in Madhya Pradesh, 538 in Rajasthan, 492 in Andhra Pradesh, 396 in Telangana, 322 in Haryana, 230 in Punjab, 222 in Jammu and Kashmir, 197 in Bihar, 79 in Odisha, 50 in Uttarakhand, 48 in Assam, 42 in Jharkhand, 37 in Kerala, 22 in Puducherry, 21 in Chhattisgarh, 19 in Goa, 11 in Himachal Pradesh, 11 people died in Chandigarh, 3 in Arunachal Pradesh, 3 in Tripura, 2 in Meghalaya, 2 in Dadar Nagar Haveli and Daman-Diu and 1 in Ladakh.

According to the ministry's website, patients were also suffering from other diseases in more than 70 percent of deaths due to infection.
