Online Education of next semester in Engineering colleges of Bihar from 1 August

From 1 August, Online education of the next academic session will be started in the engineering colleges of Bihar. Science and Technology Department has issued guidelines to colleges about this.
All the students of Engineering College (except the students of last semester) have been promoted in the next semester. Due to the corona crisis, they have not been able to give proper examinations this year.
The department has asked the colleges to complete the entire process of internal examination in July, so that there is no problem in starting the studies for the next session from 1 August.
online classes were being taken in these colleges during lockdown. According to departmental notice, 50 percent marks will be given based on the performance of the previous semester and 50 percent marks will be given on the basis of internal evaluation and performance of assignments.
This has been done as per the guidelines of University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Further guidelines related to the final semester's students will be issued later. All the districts of the state have one government engineering college. Apart from this there are also private colleges.
