SOP issued by Union Ministry of health for temples: patna mahavir mandir comes with a new initiative

The temple and other shrines will be opened from 8 june. According to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Union Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of corona virus, religious places in the containment zone will remain closed to the public, but religious places outside the containment zone can be opened.


The SOP(Standard Operating Procedure) states that in view of the possible spread of infection, groups that sing bhajan in religious places should not be allowed, instead recorded bhajans can be played. Mass prayer should be avoided during this period and things like Prasad distribution and sprinkling of holy water should not be allowed.

Everyone will have to follow these rules when the temple opens from 8 June

  • Use of mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) and thermal screening at the time of entering the temple



  • People will be allowed entry only if they are using a face cover or mask.



  • The SOP states that touching of idols and holy books at religious places should also be avoided and a physical distance of at least 6 feet should be kept in the line for entry there.



  • Posters or stands on preventive measures about Covid-19 will be prominently displayed. Audio and video clips should be played regularly to spread awareness on preventive measures.



  • A large number of people are present at religious places, so it is important that physical distance rules and other precautionary measures are followed in such premises.



  • Proper crowd management outside the parking lot and premises - social distance rules should be followed.



  • Follow the rules of social distances at all times in any shop, stall, cafeteria etc. outside and inside the temple premises.



  • To maintain crowds of people and to ensure social distance in the campus, specific marks should be made with sufficient distance.



  • The way of entry and exit should be different for the people coming to the temple.



  • The rules of physical distance should be followed while preparing and distributing food, community kitchen, langar, annadan etc. at religious places.



  • Maintaining cleanliness even inside the temple premises with special attention to the washrooms, hand and foot washing places.



  • Constant cleaning and sanitization in religious place.



  • The floor of the temple should be cleaned several times, especially in the premises.



  • Proper disposal of face covers, masks and gloves left by visitors and or staff should be ensured.



  • The seating should be arranged in such a way that sufficient social distance remains.



  • For air-conditioning / ventilation, CPWD guidelines should be followed. Air conditioning should have a temperature setting of 24-30 degrees Celsius. Fresh air intake should be as much as possible and cross ventilation should be sufficient.


Patna mahavir mandir comes with a new initiative:-

In a notice,Secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust, Acharya kishore kunal stated that apart from the general guidelines, the Mahavir mandir is making a new arrangement to control the crowd,which is not even thought of in any temple of the country. In Mahavir mandir, on Tuesday and Saturday, online information will be given to the devotees to visit the temple, For the remaining five days, the devotees are requested to come to the temple for darshan according to the following arrangement.

There are 26 letters in English and according to the first letter in the first name, according to the first day, come on Sunday, for those people whose names start with the five letters of the English alphabet.

Accordingly,

  1. on Sunday, people whose names start with A,B,C,D,E



  1. on Monday, whose names start with F,G,H,I,J



  1. on Wednesday, whose names start with K,L,M,N,O



  1. on Thursday,whose names starts with P,Q,R,S,T and



  1. on Friday,whose names start with the last six letters of U,V,W,X,Y,Z


The first four days are five-five letters and the last day comes with the last six letters. Counting of letters will be taken from the first letter of the name, not on the basis of title. If someone's name is Ram Singh, then he will be counted as R and not S. If the husband and wife come together, the first letter of the wife's name will be valid, if they also have children, then the same letter will be valid. Devotees who come on Tuesday and Saturday will have to book online at http://mahavirmandirpatna.org/online-booking.

This online booking darshan will be from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm and evening from 06:00 pm to 09:00 pm. At the time of booking, devotees have to tell the proposed time of arrival.

Apart from online, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the remaining hours of 01:00 pm to 6:00 pm, The time for the devotees in that five hours will be determined as follows

  • The first five letters A, B, C, D, E starting from 01:00 pm to 02:00 pm



  • Second group F,G,H,I,J from 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm



  • Third group K,L,M,N,O from 03:00 pm to 04:00 pm



  • Fourth group P,Q,R,S,T from 04:00 pm to 05:00 pm and



  • Fifth group U,V,W,X,Y,Z from 05:00 pm to 06:00 pm
