Nizamuddin Markaz: British citizen challenged charge sheet

The Delhi High Court has sought a response from the Center, the police and the Delhi government on the petition of a British citizen participating in a religious event in Nizamuddin Markaz.
In the petition, the British citizen has requested the lookout notice and charge sheet issued against him to be dismissed. On the petition, Justice AJ Bhambhani issued notice to the Immigration Bureau, Delhi Government and the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, seeking answers.
British citizen Suhail Sheikh has also demanded a stay on the action after the charge sheet filed in the metropolitan court in Saket.
The next hearing on the case will be held on July 2. The Delhi government's permanent lawyer Rahul Mehra and lawyer Chaitanya Gosayi accepted the notice on behalf of the state and police. Mehra said that the petitioner has already submitted his passport to the investigating officer and has pledged to attend and cooperate in the trial of the affidavit.
