Five more accused of Palghar mob lynching case found corona infected: Total 16

Five more accused of palghar lynching case have been found infected with corona in Maharashtra. The police gave this information on Wednesday.

These accused are in lockup of Wada Police Station. Earlier, samples of 17 accused in the case were examined, out of which 11 accused were found infected with corona virus on Tuesday, an official said.

on 16 April, two sadhus and their car driver were beaten to death in Gadchinchale village of Palghar district. They were going from Mumbai to Surat. About 156 people were arrested in this case. The accused were remanded to judicial custody, but due to some work being done in Palghar Jail, they were locked up in police stations.

The officer said that there were reports of five more accused locked in the lockup of Wada police station infected with Corona virus on Wednesday. With this, the total number of accused of corona infected in this case of moblynching has increased to 16.
