DSP Davinder Singh won’t be released even after bail: NIA

The suspended DSP of Jammu and Kashmir accused of providing help to terrorists will not get a chance to come out of jail despite getting bail from a Delhi court.

After the bail, the NIA issued a statement saying that Devinder Singh will remain in judicial custody. The investigating agency has several evidence against him. Soon the NIA will file a chargesheet.

Significantly, after getting bail from from Delhi court, the agencies are getting a lot of criticism. Questions are being raised about not filing the charge sheet in time. Accused Davinder Singh is accused of associating with the terrorists, he is also accused of providing logistic support to the terrorists and helping them.

In a brief statement, an NIA spokesperson said that Davinder would remain in judicial custody in the case filed by the agency. "We have enough evidence against him and a charge sheet will be filed against him soon," the NIA said in a statement.

Devinder Singh was arrested last year from the southern Kashmir city of Qazigund, located on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Then Devinder was going to Jammu carrying Hizbul commander Syed Naveed and his aides Asif Rather and Imran in the car at the time.

When Devinder was caught, there was panic in the entire system. Important revelations were expected after the arrest of several important deployments, serious questions are arising in the court about the stand of the investigating agencies.
