Ahmedabad: Patient missing for 17 days after being discharged from hospital

A patient admitted to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad is missing. His family made the allegations on Saturday. According to the hospital, Ajay Singh Raulji (40) was discharged from the hospital after the corona virus was tested negative, but his family claims that he did not reach home.
Raulji's relative Pushpendra Singh Thakor said, 'Raulji was feeling unwell due to which he was admitted to the civil hospital on 26 May. He was admitted to the COVID-19 ward.
His 70-year-old mother was with him. Thakor claimed, her mother returned home on May 28. But when one of his friends called, he said that he is still in the hospital. The hospital told the family that they were discharged from the hospital on the evening of 27 May. The hospital's resident medical officer Sanjay Kapadia said that the hospital had discharged him on 27 May. Inspector AK Patel of Shahibag police station said that they are investigating the case.
