Decision will be taken soon regarding commencement of monsoon session: Prahlad Joshi

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that a decision will be taken very soon regarding the commencement of the monsoon session of Parliament.

Joshi said, "There will be a monsoon session, but when it will happen, it will be decided soon." He said that the time for the monsoon session is till September and many times the session has been called till the end of August.

Joshi admitted that cases of covid-19 are increasing rapidly. He said, "As far as corona infection is concerned, they are increasing." Both houses of parliament were adjourned for indefinite time on March 23, about two weeks before the scheduled date. The budget session was shortened due to the corona virus global epidemic.
