Chennai: 84 workers of Raj Bhavan infected with corona

84 security and fire personnel deployed at the Raj Bhavan in Tamil Nadu have been found infected with the corona virus. However, none of these has come in contact with governor Banwari Lal Purohit or senior officials.

The government gave this information. On Thursday, the Raj Bhavan issued a statement saying that some personnel posted here showed signs of corona, after which 147 personnel of the Raj Bhavan were examined.

84 of these workers have been found to be infected with the corona virus. The infected include security and firefighters. The statement said, whether the health department has sent these personnel to segregation after conducting all the investigations. All these workers were stationed on the outskirts of the Raj Bhavan. None of these workers has come in contact with Governor Banwari Lal Purohit or senior officials.
