UP: pregnant woman dies running between hospitals

A 30-year-old pregnant woman died due to lack of treatment in city hospitals. The woman's husband wandered the streets for 13 hours to treat her, but neither the government nor private hospital treated her. The district administration has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
According to the information, Neelam Gautam, who lives in Khora Colony, got sick on Friday morning when her husband Vijendra took her to the hospital. Vijendra alleges that no one treated him, despite traveling around half a dozen hospitals for several hours from morning.
When her health deteriorated on Friday morning, he took him to the ESIC Hospital in Sector-24. There the doctors said to take her to the district hospital located in Sector 30. It was said in the district hospital that if you live in Khoda Colony, why have you come here ? go to Ghaziabad.
Vijendra said that his wife was undergoing treatment at Shivalik Hospital. When she was taken there, they also refused to admit. Later he went to the JP hospital in Sector 128, they refused to admit there. He took her wife to Sharada Hospital in Surajpur, they also refused and said to go to another hospital.
Then,he took her to Jims Hospital. They said about not having a bed. Max, Fortis Hospitals of Ghaziabad also declined. He again took her wife to Jims Hospital but she died as soon as the ambulance removed oxygen on arrival at the hospital.
Vijender said in a pained voice that throughout the day I kept going round the hospitals with my wife but no one treated her. If any hospital admitted her, she would be alive today. I have a 6 year old son.I do not know what to do.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has ordered an inquiry into the death of a pregnant woman. District Magistrate Suhas LY has entrusted the investigation of this entire case to Additional District Magistrate Munindra Nath Upadhyay and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deepak Ahori. The District Magistrate has directed both the officials to take immediate investigation and take action in this case.
