KS Dhatwalia, Principal Director General of Press Information Bureau (PIB), has been found to be infected with corona virus and has been admitted to AIIMS. Sources gave this information on Sunday. He said that Dhatwalia was admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center at 7 pm. In particular, Covid-19 patients are being treated at the trauma center.
Media reports said that the National Media Center (NMC) is closed on Monday as the entire building will be transition-free. NMC is likely to remain closed on Tuesday as well, as per the laid down rules, a comprehensive campaign is being carried out to locate the people in contact.
Sources said that till the complete transition of NMC and its reopening, all the activities of PIB including press conference will be held at Shastri Bhavan. Dhatwalia shared the stage with Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday after he briefed the media about the decisions of the cabinet.
