Petrol and diesel prices rise for 13th consecutive day

Petrol price increased by 56 paise and diesel by 63 paise per liter on Friday. After the 13th consecutive day hike in fuel prices, petrol has become costlier by Rs 7.11 and diesel by Rs 7.67 per liter.

According to the notification of public sector oil companies, the price of petrol in Delhi has now increased from Rs 77.81 to Rs 78.37 per liter. Diesel rose from Rs 76.43 to Rs 77.06 per liter.

Fuel prices have been increased across the country. These can vary due to different local taxes and VAT of the states. This is the 13th consecutive increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.

Petrol has become costlier by Rs 7.11 and diesel by Rs 7.67 per liter since June 7. Prior to June 7, fuel prices did not rise for 83 consecutive days.
