Mumbai Police interrogating Yash Raj Films casting director in Sushant singh Rajput’s death case

On Saturday,Mumbai Police called the casting director of Yash Raj Films at Bandra police station for questioning in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The official said that the police is investigating whether there was any professional enmity, due to which actor Sushant Singh Rajput became depressed.

On 14 June, Sushant's body was found hanging from the noose in his apartment in Branda. Casting director Shanu Sharma reached the police station on Saturday afternoon after the police sent summons.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-9) Abhishek Trimukhe said that Shanu Sharma is associated with Yash Raj Films as casting director and she is being questioned at Bandra police station. Another official said that representatives of some more film production houses could also be called for questioning in the next few days. Shanu Sharma worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in Yash Raj Films' Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. After Rajput's death, Yash Raj Films provided a copy of the agreement between sushant and the production house to the police.
